My mom just had her phone charger melt in her phone her phone is now not working any more it overheated basically and burning the charging place its crazy and the screens are crap the screen get ruined wayyy to much im done with the iphone

i called my sister and she said she stil went for a 3g 8GB,i advice you to stick with iphone.

i have an iphone giving to me by my sister – in -law,she felt upset after using it for 1 years,she always complain about the phone been hot,i collected it and decided to ask other users their experience,they always say it is not a problem, iphone is first before others.been hot is never an issue because mine is always hot while charging and i have used it like that for 6 months.

My iPhone 3Gs 32 gig melted the 6th day I had it. Apple sais i did it my self, – no reason, and wont let me get a new one on the warranty. Im currently fighting a battle against them, and hope somebody will believe me soon – I DID NOT MELT MY iPHONE!

Hey guys i bought an 8gig iphone after using it for a while i noticve iot got overly hot when then never turned back on when i plug it on the charger it shows me a battery that never moves from red but u can bearly see it can apple creadit me and replace my phone since it seems that is an 8gig iphone bug

well had my phone for 2 years no problums when i updated to red snow it started to get hot so dont no if its the two year mark or the the sofeware didnt for me so seems like everyone has the same issue so i think it might of just had its time so i guess i was lucky i got two years out of it will see when i get the new 3gs i will restore it to see if that did it i will write back to let yall know what happend..

My iphone got real hot and stopped working. Would not charge, could not make calls, it eventually died. It did give me a message stating “this accessory is not compatible with this iphone. Would you like to turn on airplane mode?” I did not have it plugged into anything. I spoke to Apple customer service and they wanted $200 to diagnose it since it was out of warranty. A friend of mine suggested I buy a new battery off the internet. So I did and it worked fine for a 1.5 days. It got hot again and will not charge. I’m giving up and will be buying a blackberry. Thanks Apple!

I’ve had my phone since January and it only started cooking 2 weeks ago. This seemed to time up with the addition of the new web apps, but I’m not sure why my phone would work fine for 8 months and then go berserk. It gets hot in all kinds of situations: plugged, unplugged… I’m worried the phone will die or melt one of these days.

Yes, My Iphone would get hot when i would charge it but 2 days ago i put it to charge for 15 min on the wall charger that was provided when i got the phone i could not pick it up it was hotter then ever i could not even hold it with out burning my self i panic and pulled the connection off the wall checked the carger box that was cool but my phone died i called apple and will be taking it to be Checked by there Genies bar I had it for less then 1 yr Plus i got it with my American Express so im hopping they will replace it.
